Consciously harvested Alaskan chaga. Chaga mushrooms are a type of fungus that grows on the trunks of birch trees in cold climates, including North America, Russia and Europe. Chaga boosts your immune system, helping it fend off viruses and infections. Chaga also helps lower blood sugar levels, especially in people with diabetes.
Steep ¼ cup Chaga in 8 cups water that has been brought to boil. Soak or lightly simmer for 1-2 hours until desired strength & color. Do not Boil Chaga. Strain, then sweeten as desire. Drink iced or add to coffee. Chaga chunks can be reused. Left-over chaga tea can be kept in fridge for 3-5 days.
